Cofactr at electronica 2024: A Milestone Experience

Cofactr's hardware manufacturing solutions on exhibit at electronica 2024.

As we reflect on our time at electronica 2024, we are grateful for the opportunities this event has provided our team at Cofactr. In Munich, Germany, electronica brought together industry leaders, innovators, and enthusiasts from around the world to showcase the latest advancements in electronics and technology. Amongst the expansive exhibit hall area, our booth attracted a steady stream of visitors eager to learn more about our cutting-edge solutions. We were thrilled to demo our platform to all curious visitors who stopped by and wanted to know how we are making critical hardware supply chains less of a headache. We loved learning about others' unique challenges and aligning our solutions with their problems. Ultimately, sharing how Cofactr can help turn those procurement and logistics puzzles into smooth sailing was a win.

This year's fair was huge; here are some of the numbers:

  • 3,480 exhibitors traveled from 59 countries and regions, with 76% of them from abroad
  • Over 80,000 visitors from 100+ countries and regions
  • International visitors represented 54% - After Germany, the top 10 visitor countries were Italy, China, France, Austria, United Kingdom, Switzerland, USA, Spain, Netherlands, and Poland.

Some of our highlights from the week:

  • Having meaningful conversations with industry partners and networking was a significant portion of our time in Munich. We met with representatives from various companies, like Altium, Arena, Bosch, Master Electronics, Molex, Siemens, and more to discuss our shared visions and how Cofactr is disrupting the status quo of supply chain management.
  • Our CEO & Co-founder Matthew Haber talked with EMS@C-Level's Philip Stoten and shared some serious knowledge about how we're using AI to future-proof supply chains and transform the hardware manufacturing landscape.
  • Our Director of Sales, Nino Hardin, gave multiple platform demos to various industry professionals who were looking for a solution that addresses the gaps and challenges they face in their traditional tech stack.

  • ‎We found time in the evenings to explore some German cultures. One highlight was having traditional German fare at the Paulaner Beer Garden and trying our hand at "curling."
  • But nothing beats the quality time we had together as a team in the after-hours, where we enjoyed some great dinners at local restaurants and a chance to debrief from the event's excitement.

The big takeaway? There is a lot to look forward to in the future of hardware manufacturing and supply chain management, and Cofactr is poised to empower those who get the critical work done.
